In the dynamic world of music, there are artists who defy categorization – vocalists who can transcend genres, identities and expectations. Few embody this versatility and technical prowess more than Slaveya Ivanova, a true chameleon of sound and genre. Known for her soaring vocals and magnetic stage presence, she is the undisputedwinner of “The Voice of Bulgaria” season 11, where she captivated the audience with her music mastery. But beneath the polished exterior of her mainstream success lies another persona – a darker, edgier alter ego that thrives in the world of metal.
From pop star to metal roots
Using her own name, Slaveya
is a star who shines brightly on the Bulgarian stage. Her path to winning “The Voice of Bulgaria” 2024 was a grand one, filled with hard work and strong emotions. With every appearance on stage, she demonstrated her exceptional range, performing powerful songs and infectious pop hits with a voice that grabs and ignites your soul. Her victory established her as one of the most promising vocalists in the country.
But for Slaveya, music has always been more than just a sound. While she has been conquering international competitions and festivals with her pop music, another passion has been ignited within her – one that is darker, louder and unapologetically raw. Witness her alter ego, a fierce vocalist in the metal world.
The Birth of a Metal Force
Far from the bright lights of the pop scene, Seya Nightingale steps into the shadows with her metal band SIИNERG. With guttural growls, soaring screams and an overbearing energy, she has transformed herself into a force that cannot be ignored. Her band – a group of passionate musicians – weaves a whirlwind of heavy riffs, thunderous drums and unforgettable melodies into a sound that is both brutal and beautiful.
And now the wait is almost over. The band is ready to release their debut demo, a song that promises to deliver all the raw power and emotion that metal fans crave. Combining Seya Nightingale ’s captivating vocals with the band’s heavy-hitting instrumentals, the demo is ready to introduce a new force in the genre to the world.
Dual Identity: One Artist, Two Worlds
The contrast between her two musical identities is striking. In one world, Slaveya
is a sensation — a star who conquers national stages and wins numerous awards, including:
🎙️ International Arts Festival “Slavianski Bazaar” Vitebsk, Belarus 2020, among representatives from 16 countries, previously selected, in front of an audience of 12,000, accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra and choreographed by the famous Russian ballet Todes.
🎙️ International vocal competition named after Roza Baglanova, Astana, Kazakhstan 2022 with the highest award – Grand Prix, with a performance of a song in the Kazakh language, accompanied by an orchestra.
🎙️”Golden Microphone” Kostanay, Kazakhstan 2022 – again Grand Prix with a Bulgarian song.
🎙️Award for contribution to art from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture
🎙️European Youth Pop-Rock Competition “Sarandev”, Dobrich 2023 – 1st place
In another world, Seya Nightingale is a person who borrows strength from her parents:Captain Ivaylo Ivanov and Senior Sergeant Diana Ivanova. She is a warrior of sound, ready to command mosh pits and growl together with legions of metal fans. But for her, these two personalities are not in conflict, but a wealth that gives her incredible expressive possibilities. “We want our message to reach the souls of those people who will find themselves in our music and feel understood,” she says of her band’s upcoming debut demo.
What’s next?
With her thriving pop career and her metal band‘s debut demo on the horizon, Slaveya Ivanova, along with her alter, Seya Nightingale
, is proving that artists no longer have to choose between genres. She’s a pioneer, showing that flexibility is not a weakness, but a superpower.
As her band prepares to release their debut, one thing is clear: whether she’s singing in front of hundreds of thousands on the Voice of Bulgaria stage or growling into the microphone in some metal club, Slaveya is a vocalist like no other – a master of reinvention, a queen of contrasts, and an artist who truly has many faces.

Because in a world where artists are often locked under a single lid, Slaveya refuses to be anything but limitless.
“While I am not a journalist and cannot be impartial as I am a part of SIИNERG, I believe every word I have written. It is always a real pleasure for me to play and create with Seya Nightingale. I feel truly lucky that she is one of my muses and continues to inspire us with her fire, love for music and strong emotion. I have personally seen how much effort and work she puts into each of her performances, which can only fill me with enthusiasm. I can’t wait for this year, when we will play our first gig together.“
